Throughout my career, I have worked collaboratively within and across teams to design creative, inquiry-driven learning experiences that unite conceptual rigour with innovation. As an MYP Visual Arts and Design teacher, I have co-planned interdisciplinary units, contributed to curriculum alignment, and collaborated with colleagues to curate exhibitions that celebrate student voice and process. Working alongside teachers in Science, Language, and Individuals & Societies, I have helped students see how art and design connect meaningfully to broader cultural and environmental issues. As a DP Visual Arts teacher, I have coordinated exhibitions, moderated assessment standards, and partnered with TOK and EE supervisors to strengthen transdisciplinary understanding. Beyond the IB, my experience as an educational video-game artist and UX designer honed my ability to collaborate with programmers, writers, and researchers in agile, feedback-rich environments where creativity and problem-solving intersect. Across all these settings, I have learned that genuine innovation flourishes through collegial dialogue, trust, and shared purpose. Working with diverse teams has continually deepened my belief that art and design are inherently collaborative acts—connecting people, disciplines, and ideas to inspire learning that is imaginative, inclusive, and globally relevant.
